Knights, Peasants, Knights, Pegasus, More Knights, More Pegasus, Trebuchet, Knights, Antimagic, RAF...
What do you mean exactly? If you want a truly balanced force then you'd have a few Knight units, Lord, BSB, 3 lv2 Damsels for magic offence, Trebuchet, Skirming Bowmen, Men at Arms... basically one or more of each unit, so you can participate in as many parts of the game as possible.
There are any ways to make a balanced brettonian army. Pretty much anything that isn't all knights, all peasants, or most importantly an RAF is balanced and IMO the most effective take on all comers army.
2009 Tourny records (W-L-D) (20-4-4):
9/56, 1/12, 2/14, 4/14, 32/82, 1/6, 16/72
Pardon my ignorance, but what's an RAF? All I can think of is "Royal Air Force" which may very well be what it means... (all pegasus knights)
Thats exactly what it is, ''Royal Air Force''.
But here, the planes are replaced by the Pegasi
Basically run a Lord on Pegasus, then Paladins and as many Pegasi units you want.
I think having a bit of everything works well with Bretts.
Have some Ment at Arms, some mounted yeomen and some archer.
Take a couple of units of knights, take some Peg Knights.
Take some magic and you're done.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
