So I am new to the Bretonnian forces and have a question of strategy for MSU?
How viable is it? and how do you properly execute the tactic? Thanks!
If you can find the "Village Idiot Tactica" do read it.
I use 12 MAA units and my skirmisher archers to divert or block the enemies that are planning to charge my more important stuff.

Its very viable at any level, but especially useful at 1K or less.
Use Knight units of 6, or 5 + Character, and dont bother with Lance Form. You get more attacks in later combat rounds from one rank than from a lance if you dont break the enemy, more attacks on the charge anyway. You lose one rank bonus, but only if the unit gets to combat unharmed anyway. Also, the unit is less susceptible to Warmachines, unless you happen to let a Bolt or Cannonball run down your flank...
A unit of Skirming bowmen is always useful. Men at arms really need to be in units of 20, but they're cheap so that's not too bad. Id say keep Damsels with peasants for now, if with non lance Knights they are a bit vulnerable.
