Greetings fellow Bretonnians! Though I play Bretonnians regularly and have been active in the forum for some time this is my first post in this sub-forum. This post deals with a small adventure campaign I have notes for. Instead of just posting the rules for it though, I have instead chosen to ask for a few volunteers, for I wish this to be more than a simple campaign supplement. I am looking for ‘about’ five Bretonnian players that have access to friends with the following armies- note that I’m not looking for 2000+ points here (though that’s fine if you do), the number of models to be used probably wont go any higher that 500 points, maybe on a few special occasions 1000 points:
And if enough interest is shown, other armies can be written in
This will be a narrative campaign using Mordhiem rules. The Bretonnian player controls a Knight Errant, guiding him through various unsatisfactory predicaments. Those interested must be able to read through the short narrative and scenario posted on this sub-forum every weekend. Ideally two, or even three short games can be played during the course of your week. The day before the weekly scenario is released, players must post their results. The players’ results are not interconnected, each player (and his non-Bretonnian opponent) has their own personalized campaign. The story will start the same, but each week’s results will widen the gap between, so that eventually the stories could be totally different. I will manage each of the five campaigns, giving the narrative and advancing the characters.
Simply reply to this post if you are interested, have an opponent(s) with the above armies, and can spare an evening a week. Not counting for any unforeseeable events, the campaign should start next weekend. I’ll announce the five chosen and post the first mission then.
I wish I could participate, but I'd be lacking in some of the opponents you need, and couldn't guarantee that I could get that many games in every week (in fact, I can guarantee that I couldn't). I am interested in following this though, so I look forward to hearing more.
I think I'll keep the scenarios public, in a format that allows players not involved to play using whatever armies they wish, even with some of the story too.
