Since the Grail Vow effectively trumps the Questing Vow, can a character with the Grail Vow take the Sword of the Quest - or must be a character who absolutely has to have the Questing Vow?
I would say they HAVE to have the relevant vow. The grail knight is no longer a questing knight as his grail vow has replaced that he took for the quest. He would therefore no longer use questing equipment.
In a similar vein, would you then argue that all knights benefit from the peasant's vow?
There is nothing in the book that states "if the knight has x vow he also has all the other vows beneath that".

Yeah, have to specifically have the Questing Vow, sorry =)
