Hey fellas, brief clarification on the Army standard bearer rules for brets. If I purchase an army standard bearer(mundane banner) can I give him any equipment, magical or otherwise? I have my standard bearer kitted with a royal pegasus, the grail vow, the wyrmlance, cuirass of fortune, shield, and the virtue of purity. Is it legal for him to be my army standard bearer? Thanks fellas!

The only mundane equipment you can give him is a mount.
You can give him magical items but not those that you can't give mundane options to.
So your character is fine apart from the shield.
i would mount him on a regular barded horse though not a pegasus.
Can I get some more clarification on this?
The rule book says: "He may not be given any extra equipment, except for a barded Warhorse or a Royal Pegasus." So since the rules seem to specifically allow for Magic Items and a Virtue and a mount, then the only "equipment" items you can't add on are the shield, and the other options of morning star, lance, or great weapon. Is that how it works? Thanks
