I was just wondering what examples of these lists looked like.
are there men@arms or bowmen in these lists? grail reliquae?
I like 2 trebuchets and a decent sized unit of bowmen skirmishers in all my lists, so I would probably include them. Give them flaming shots if you suspect anything with regeneration. Flaming has problems against High Elves wearing dragon armor (dragon princes and dragon/eagle rider princes) other than that it's usually a decent buy.
I'm not 100% on Erranty lists, I think there are some special rules for it, since I think they have to have the erranty banner in every unit of errants (and not sure if Men at arms or bowmen or peasants at all are involved in this list/ are special choices) I could be wrong here tho, but I think this is a modification to the normal list.
As for an RAF list this one comes strait from the Bretonnian book. It isn't a fixed list as such, but is just using the fact that If you put your lord on a Pegasus, the 0-1 restriction for pegasus knights is lifted. This is in essence to represent the Dukedom of Parravon where pegasi come from. You still can include everything else that is in the army list, but people go very heavy in flying units and characters on pegasi. Some say its a bit cheesy, and it is, but it does also have weaknesses. But you still need to include the 1 unit of KoTR, and still have 3 core choices.
An example list would be something like
Lord on Pegasus
BSB on warhorse
Paladin on pegasus
Damsel on Horse
(possibly another damsel or paladin)
7 KoTR FC
10 Skirmishing Bowmen
4 units of 4 pegasus knights, full command.
This is roughly 2000pts with magic items and equipment on the characters, and gives you 18 flying models. The problems you have is it cuts down your static combat res, and kind of makes you an all or nothing army.
where can i find the rules for the errantry list?
I had a look on Google and found the rules for Errantry War Lists on a PDF. Haven't found this on the GW website so not sure how 'legal' it is so won't link it, but if you google search Bretonnian Errantry War army list it should come up. Its an alternative army list so you would need to check with whereever you are playing that they would consider it legal. Having looked at it you have to have at least 3 units of Errants, they get a free upgrade to the erranty banner, but they also get a load of other effects to their impetuous rolls, can also have grail knights as champions. Unit selection is different as well in terms of less trebs, no grails, no forced unit of Knights of the Realm, no Prophetess, Reliquarie is Rare...
Take a look.
