Hey guys I'm just wondering about the brets, I love the models and have a great theme planned, the only problem is they seem awfully repetitive and unbalanced. They are a kind of point and click army with out any sort of reliable core infantry. Now my perceptions could be very wrong and I would love for one of you to prove me wrong. So what do you guys think? Plus I would probably want to use a fair amount of peasants and men at arms.
"Unbalanced" I don't think is an appropriate word for them. They are good at what they do but only really do one thing, charge into combat. As far as being point and click army I personally see that as a very "outsiders" opinion. If you point and click at a ranked up unit there is a good chance you will not break it and if you can't break it first turn there is no chance to the second turn without help. As far as being repetitive it seems like they are no more then any other army. With brets that repetition is positioning your knights rights and "clicking" the right targets with the right knights. As far as fielding a lot of peasants go with whatever you like, but they really are only support units, I personally don't even use my m@a, support units that are 2 turn behind what they need to support is not much help, but I am very bad at using them too. For the archers I take them and they do what I like them to well enough.
Hope that helps at all. If you have more specific questions feel free to ask.
