need help to create a balanced army

well as no one seems to be replying in the army list section i thought id try here
this is a 2000pt list where i am trying to cater for all types of opponents

    bretonnian lord
    lance
    grail shield
    sword of heroes
    virtue of audacity
    grail vow
    hippogryph
    444 pts

    paladin
    BSB
    virtue of duty
    sword of might
    barded warhorse
    124 pts

    damsel
    2 scrolls
    warhorse
    130 pts

    damsel
    scroll
    chalice of malfleur
    warhorse
    125 pts

    8 KOTR
    full command
    216 pts

    8 KE
    full command
    erranty banner
    201 pts

    6 KOTR
    full command
    168 pts

    10 peasant bowmen
    skirmish
    60 pts

    3 pegasus knights
    gallant
    165 pts

    5 grail knights (damsel here)
    full command
    220 pts

this leaves me with 137 free points
i could either squeeze in 5 questing knigts to protect a flank (can take a charge from fast cavalry and strike back with strength 5)
or i could add the war banner and banner of chalons to my knight units and add another unit of bowmen
these are the options i see and have the models available
i dont really like men at arms but have the models. mabye they have a place in this list?
also what are your thoughts on the hippogryph?

anyways feel free to share criticism and advice
    cheers

You could throw in a trebuchet, since they can really be devastating - but, they can be very unreliable and you have such a fast force and should be in CC by turn two. Personally, I would stick in a group of M @A for some CR to protect a flank. Also, a large block of infantry on the board always makes an opponent nervous, no matter how weak the individual stats are. They could waste some magic or missle fire in their direction and that could save a few knights - and that is really the only job of M @As - to protect the knights!

i like the list , the gryphon has nice equipment.

since your short on regiments i would suggest either the questing knights you mentioned or a flankdefending men @ arms regiment MDSW mentions.

at first glance id probably go for questing knights because they can help on the second turn charge, or perhaps defend a flank whatever is needed at the time.

Thanks MDSW and digger. i will try 5 questing knights for 140 pts (love the models)
If i have no success i shall use a block of 25 M@A with command
I am thinking of dropping a few command models to mabye buy a banner of chalons or war banner but dont know where to start
