Hey everybody, I came up with the following list actually for the Battle for skull pass scenario at my local GW. I was a complete massacre, with me and my partner and me losing 275 points, 2/3 of which was peasants, while our chaos warrior opponent lost all 4000 of his. Long story short i thought this was a good list and i wanted some input before i run it full time.
Questing Vow, Barded warhorse, Gromril great helm, Sirene locket, biting blade
lance, shield, barded warhorse, Banner of defence
Lvl 2, warhorse, chalice of malfluer
Full CMD, Banner of chalon
Full CMD, War Banner
25 Men At Arms
Spears, Full CMD
Braziers, Light Armor, Full CMD
Braziers, Light armor, Skirmish
5 Questing Knights
Full CMD, Valorious standard
3 extra Pilgrims
6 Grail Knights
Well there you have it this list has got me pretty interested but i want the opion of all you bret vets!
I'd put banner of Defense on the Grail Knights and give the BSB magic armor/weapons instead.
Any reason for only taking a 4+ amor save for the lord? why no heavy armour?
I think light armour on Bowmen is a waste of points. So is full command.. maybe just a musician only.
You must specify on the list which magic lore the Damsel will use.. i.e beasts, heaven..?
Can you specify which units the characters are joining?

The lord would actually have a 3 up save as he comes with heavy armor and the great helm gives a plus one that he can reroll. Ive only listed the equipment that ive purchased for them not the starting stuff.
The damsel takes the lore of beasts, but will on occasians take life.
To rap it up the BSB will join one unit on knights.
The damsel the other. Though in the game i played i put them in the same unit giving me a 3 up ward against magic!
The lord will be joining the qeusting knights.
did your ally have alot of artillery?

Yea he had two great cannons, hellblaster volley gun, hellstorm rocket battery, and a boat load of hand gunners. How ever both cannons kept misfiring and the volley gun fired once. magic was probably the key to our victory. not to mention out of every blessing roll i was required to make i only failed two the enitre game. I mean we turned Archeaon into a gold statue with final transmutation.
Iwasnt even expecting to win. The list i ran worked well with my partner and it got me curious as to the quality of the list. I was planning i posting battle report of it latter this week. i will post a link if needed.

The Lady protects ⚜
There are a few things I'd change about the list to make it a little bit more competitive. Firstly drop the armour and skirmish on the bowmen and grab a musician in each. You are going to be using that armour very often and the skirmish isn't really worth it as much anymore. The musicians will allow you to fire after a reform if you take a leadership check so have at leastone knight or character in or near the units.
The Grail relique loses a lot with this new edition. It's armour save was reduced by 1 and the parry save doesn't stack with the blessing so you effectively lose it. Large units withmultiple ranks are stubborn if they stick around so perhaps throw the points at the bowmen units or beef up the maa to a larger block. Perhaps even throw in a trebuchet for some fire support against any large blocks?
