Hello folks! I'm just getting into brets (and warhammer generally) and bought some bits second hand, including the Grail Reliquae and 6 battle pilgrims. They've not arrived in the original packaging, though they haven't been built, and I'm not sure how to base the Reliquae figure itself. It's clearly bigger than a standard square base. Any advice?
You can look at the pictures on GW website to see how it goes together and the base is the exact size of 6 Pilgrim bases. With 6 Pilgrims you can put it in the middle and run three Pilgrims up each side. I love the Reliquae and I bring it every time.
Take the standard large square base, like one for a flyer... a 40 x 40. Then add two 20 x 20 standard infantry bases to the back end. Glue relaquae to 40 x 60 rectangle.
If desired, add green stuff to hide seams between squares.
Does the relique not have a base of its own?

The item he got was out of box, I don't think it came with the bases. Usually it does come with it.
Yes, it wasn't new though it hadn't been assembled. I have got enough bases for the extra battle pilgrims, and almost enough 20mm bases to mount the reliquae, but I was figuring a 40mm and two 20mm's would be an easier option. Thanks for the response guys.
