Are they any good at it? I like the idea of having a -somewhat- mobile fire support unit for harrassing or whitlling tarpit units down.
And I don't really like Grail Knights.. so got points to spare ;-)
I have honestly tried to use the yeoman quite a few times - afterall, I made such great kitbashed versions...But, alas, they never seem to do anything with their bows. Their armour save is not great, weapon skill average, so they don't do well in combat, but can manage to take on a war machine crew.
It is really going to depend on your style of play. I usually get my knights into battle before yeoman would manage to reach the backline where the warmachines are anyway. Go ahead and try them out in a few games. Fast cavalry really have some great advantages.
