There are quite a few threads (and lots in other forums) about rumours abounding for what people would like to see happen for Bretonnia in the new book (maybe out mid 2012?) But, the discussions that get me excited are the prospects of new models that would get re-done with the new book. Here is my preference and take on our existing range. We can think and hope for new troops, but there are lots of threads about that - this is just to discuss the existing range and what we think needs to get re-done. I do not have the exact dates for the recent models, but I hope I am not too far off the mark:
Knights - Fairly recent sculpt. I don't think these need to be improved at all. The newer version of the horse was leaps and bounds better than the previous version and I am very happy with it. I have seen opinions that some would like the shield image removed from the caparison so they could add their own insignia. I like the shield shape (for ease of adding heraldry), and would like maybe one horse option with a clean caparison for a freehand option - but, definitely not every one!
Questing Knights - Pretty old sculpt. Metal versions will probably get a finecast option at some time. However, these are not my favorite sculpts - but, lots of people love them. I would like to see them re-done
Grail Knights - Fairly recent - I definitely think we need some more holy/regal looking knights - the current ones are OK, but I think they need a little more bling.
Men at Arms - Fairly recent - Personally, I like these, but I have heard lots of complaints. I do think they could use a makeover, but not mandatory, in my opinion.
Bowmen - Fairly recent - Leaps and bounds better than the previous versions. I really like the current versions
Grail Reliquae - I would like to see plastic pilgrims and better sculpts. Some of them are downright stupid and ugly. The Reliquae itself is OK, but it would be great to have an option for another type of shrine.
Trebuchet - Need a more detailed version in plastic. 8th ed made this into a great piece to take, so more armies include more than one, so options to make a couple versions would be great. Personally, I scratch built two of my own...
Peg Knights - Great sculpts and I love them, however, would like more than just a head swap option.
Lords - The two current versions are OK, but time to come up with some more.
Damsals - I believe one is recent and the other is fairly old. The two versions are OK, but could use a revamp, especially since they use the old version of the horses, which are terrible.
Prophetess - OMG - she is hideous... She needs lots of help IMHO.
I won't go into the characters, but what does everyone else think?
Kudos for starting this thread.
I too think the Questing Knights need to be remodeled and into plastic or finecast.
Grail Knights need to look more regal as well.
I've only read and heard rumors that our Treb is difficult to build and sit correctly. I also thought it was pricey for the model, so I made Trebs out of balsa wood. I just staff it with some M@A models.
I like the Peg models, but I with we had options for knight builds and wing variations for the Pegasus themselves. I hate that the wings bump into each other.
More Lords would be great; I feel they carry the regal nature and tough, bulkier look that a Grail Knight should have.
I don't like the newest mage/wizard models, nor the newer Fay model. Each of them looks too elf like.
My opinion is:
The plastic knights don't need touching,
Bring out an either or plastic kit for Grail and Questing knights
Finecast BSB (the current one is an over balanced nightmare!),
Faye Enchantress needs a new sculpt out in finecast, she needs to look regal and sexy
Again with out Damsel's and Prophetess' they could benefit from a plastic either or kit bash set
Brettonian Lords and Paladins could greatly benefit from a plastic either or kit bash set too
Trebs need a serious re-sculpt, current model is a nightmare to put together and would not work at all, I'd like to see it done in the same manner as the warp lightening cannon with maybe another type of siege engine
For our SoM creatures it's pretty much a given that we're going to see Pegasai, Unicorns and Griffins, but if we get something new I wouldn't be surprised for a something like a White Dragon or some other flying beasty to be taken as a mount.

I am the Hammer...
Personaly I'd love to see the special choices resculpted for plastic, namely Mounted squires. Currently they're the oldest sculpts for the army alongside the damsel and prophetess, and they'd be much ore enticing if it didn't cost $21 Australian a model.
GLORY TO THE DICE GODS!
Holy Cow!! How could I have forgotten to include the Mounted Yeoman in my list??? Yes - they need attention more than anything, but just are not widely used. The metal sculpts are not too bad (still, can be greatly improved), but the horses are so badly out of proportion. I kit=bashed 10 Yeoman using a bunch of parts from multiple armies - Empire Pistolier horses and legs, Militia bodies, Glade Rider Horses, KoR heads, etc. I was really pleased with the way they came out, but sadly, they never perform very well on the field.
A VERY reputable source (JVK) has reported that Brets are not even on the horizon for 2012. The reported order for Fantasy will be Vampire Counts, Empire, Warriors of Chaos and Dwarfs.
Oh well, at least I won't be tempted to purchase new models for next year - I can save some money!!
Unfortunately, I am itching to get a solid Bret army book going. I think I read the same thread re: Bret 2013
I think we can expect to see a new monsterous/ large cavalry option appearing, or at the very least a large ground based mount for lords and heroes like the Empire are meant to be getting Demi-gryph cavalry. Iv got no idea what it will end up being but a cavalry heavy army without somthing like that comming out doesnt seem right.
Character wise i can see a single new aprophetess/damsel model, and then probably a named character model. On top of that a generic lord/hero with options between a sword or lance as the only weapon options. The bsb will probably be a new stand alone model. Would be great if the lord/bsb/hero options came in one plastic box set with a large choice of weapons but i think GW will want to go resin instead a plastic box like the empire or high elves. Green Knight resculpt (although the current one still kicks ass,) hopefully with a great set of rules, but its proabably going to be more of a support model granting buffs and debuffs than a combat monster, as single models dont quite have the punch they used to.
Monsterous mounts...winged lion maybe. Leoncors crest is a lion, so the ideas probably in there somewhere.
As for the new models, all metal needs to be fine casted or plastic. The current knights are good, no changes, make King Louey on a bigger damn hippogriff.
Damsels more sexy but not skanky, need to still look elegant and lady like, not some hoochy bikini like the DE slaves.
"For Plunder and Women!"
Bretonnians 7500, Empire 3300, Dwarfs 4800; Space Marines 2000, Tyranids 3000
JVK - Jared Van Kell - the man who is mysteriously 'in the GW know'... Here was the thread where he discusses the rumoured order:

I am also a closet Chaos fan - but Bretonnia still rules supreme!!
Unfortunately, GW seems to be going with the standard money making armies - WE & Bret haev a definite niche, but nowhere near the following as the others on the list - very sad, GW...
