a list is only illegal if used at a gw shop or a tournament between friends anything goes as long as you both agree

i been gaming best part 40yrs now and dont win that many games anymore as more interested in teaching basics to up & coming "kids" - just remember this is a hobby its supposed to be fun - win ,lose or draw fun is all that matters

i have played games with all heroes on one side, 8 models against bout 100 - i got hammered but enjoyed it - remember if you lose the world will still turn - nothing encourages a new player like winning their 1st few games

    enjoy & smile happy gaming

    Thanks for the reply's.

I actually ended up playing this game. I tricked out all the HE units with upgrades, and rode to war with a basic bret force, no special upgrades (1 KE, 1 KR, some bowman, some PEGs and M@A). I made my own silent rules that I wouldn't double charge anything, or try to flee things off the board.

I ended up getting rocked!! but it was lots of fun. Half way through the game, when it was looking the bret's were going to come through, I suddenly couldn't roll 3 + to save my life. It turned into a total bloodbath, couldn't have been a better ending. There was a real sense of excitement as his Swordman cleaved the way to victory!!! Great game, I only wish I had took some pictures for a battle report

    Thanks all, happy gaming
