My thoughts exactly - that is why my army has some multi-colored units to signify the true collective force of knights under many banners uniting and other units in an identifiable color scheme. I have a large unit of KoRs that are painted all in the main army color and I call this unit the KoKs or Knights of the King. Then I have the Crusader unit and the QK unit as coming from one unified banner/color. Personally, I like to have a blend of both. It would be slightly boring to have all of the knights in the exact same scheme, but every single one in a different scheme looks a little too 'Barnum and Bailey' for me.
