im posting this on behalf of a friend who wants to start a Brettonian army, so excuse the spelling.
Just to understand magic resistance. How does it work? The aura of the lady, is it given to the whole unit?
and Knights of Realm is it the same model as the Knight Errants?
The magic resistance is given to the whole unit of whichever unit the damsel is in, and it works by adding the number of dispel dice that your magic resistance value is to every spell that effects the model/unit with magic resistance, as normal you can add your own dispel dice to these if you want. Read the rulebook magic section for more information.
Errant are the same models as realm knights, the main difference is most people use the helmetless heads or the ones with no extra decoration for errant and the ones with the larger symbols (can't remember the technical name) on top for realm knights, those include the boar, dragon, lion, unicorn etc. This is because the errant haven't quite got to the stage of displaying their own heraldry yet but full realm knights have.
The word you are looking for is "heraldry".
There once was a Lord named Vlad,
Who's fighting skillz really were mad.
He killed and he maimed,
He spilled blood in Khorne's name.
And the fact that he's legal makes me glad
(special thanks to Uriel Zarium for the last line/touching it up)
thanks for the help
Nah heraldry is what they are displaying, I mean the particular name for that part of their armour like helmet, grieves, gloves etc.
