you can alwaysuse them, i have heard they are a good unit to hold up strong units til you get you knights there, at least thats what i have heard( i have never used them)
"The proper height for an elf is 6 feet under"
they are really only any good in a peasant army (and we need to see a few more of those).
What I'd do is run it with a few groups of men at arms, tie up an annoying unit that would spell death for the man-at-arms and ram your knights in to it (you'll always have KOTR but I'd like to bring 1 power cc unit, possibly questing or grail knights).
Or you could do that with man-at-arms against ranked infantry.
"Heresy is like a garden weed, it won't stop feeding until you... BURN THE WHOLE DAMN GARDEN WITH A FLAMER, BURN IT, BURN IT TO HELL!!!!!" "Is there a wittle puppy in the garden? ITS A DAEMON! BURN IT!"
I find that they are pretty much useless, not very good for much and expensive. Plus I don't like the idea of dragging a dead and rotting knight onto the battlefield, doesn't make sense to me... So I never use them.
they are a very srong unit. the stubborn rule rocks for holding flanks until support arrives.
there not that expensive imo
they are very fluffy....only practical in majority peasant armies though IMO

I have to agree there. The Bretonian strong point is charging. Just ask any of my opponets how scary my knights can be.
There once was a Lord named Vlad,
Who's fighting skillz really were mad.
He killed and he maimed,
He spilled blood in Khorne's name.
And the fact that he's legal makes me glad

As long as you take at least one model with the Grail Virtue.Originally Posted by Dwarvenrat

The Grail Vow itself doesn't do a lot of good, but the Sword of the Lady's Champion and the Grail Shield can be pretty handy.Originally Posted by pro_necron
