I am getting a new army and its going to be bretonnian could someone please give any ideas on wat 2 get. this will be the first time i have played fantasy
hey, i'm a semi-new player too, i've actually never played a game of fantasy, and only 3 of 40k, so i know what yur going through. Brets main strength is cavalry, but you might want to back them up with men-at-arms and all that, so if you have the funds i'd say buy the battalion box set (that is what its called, right?) cool
This night is wild, so cold and dull, these hearts they race from self control
Carpe Noctem (because Diem is too bright)
Blood Angels Wins:6-Draws:0-Losses:5...apparently i'm doing decently for a guy who randomly charges into certain oblivion
If you dont want all your opponents crying cheese, take 2x 20 men at arms per knight unit. this is a good way to make a bret army. and maa r0x0r.
2 MAA per knight unit? That's a bit much. Maybe 1 MAA per knight unit, but most games you'll still find that your peasents will get stranded and be unable to utilize knight LD which is very important. It may only be a block of peasents, but I don't need 100 points running off the table because they failed a fear or terror test.
That depends on playing style. If you play the Knights like you'd play an all-Knight army and leave the peasants behind, that is you to blame for their uselessness, not the Peasants themselves.
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
