    No magic. Big mistake?

OK, I haven't played too many Fantasy games (2 warband games) but it seems to me that magic is pretty important at the standard 2000 point level. Is it a big mistake to not bring anything that can sling spells or counter enemy magic?

    The short answer is yes.

Magic plays a massive part in the game and so even if you don't want to field a magic heavy army yourself you must still prepare for others to use magic against you.

An army with no magic defence would get slaughtered by HE, Skaven and Khemri, amongst others

So for tournamnets you should pack at least two scrolls in 2k points, 3/4 if you don't have many DD.

Of course if you know you are going to be playing against dwarfs then it's a lot less important!
