does anyone know how to beat high elf calv with bretonians?
Well his entire army is mounted even his archers.
he has silver helms
2 bolt throwers
an unstoppable mage
he combines a battle standard barrer with the DP to get d6+3 to combat res.
i hope this is better the main problem i have is that my friend is not consistant so his strategy changes the high evls seem to be like the bretonnians just with better magic and more choices i was hoping for a suggestion on which unit would be best in general. should i go with men-at-arms or counter with my own calvery. my lady does not stand a chance in the magic phase so far i have fitted her with disspell scrolls and protected her with my KOTR. should i change this? also the bolt throwers are a big problem ive tried pks but they seem to get there to late and he protects the bolt throwers with his mounted archers and mage. the biggest problem though is the battle standard barrer with the DP they move faster have a higer Ws and I, and even if i charge d6+3 to combat res still hurts. basically they break my knight after a couple of turns.
thank you for the help in advance.

You're probably going to need to be more specific than that. Charging them should work, and your knights, if you pray first, should be stronger than theirs. Add more detail & you'll get more constructive feedback.
