Another Noob question, does anyone use The green knight,if so why,if not why not?
well, I have not had the opportunity to use him. But reading his rules, as well as seeing him on a batrep (well even if it was a WD one). It is the secind of only two models (the other being te hipogryph) that causes terror in the Bretinnian army. He is etereal, and is a b---ch to kill, as you can just bring him back over and over, and over... and he can appear anywhere. I guess he is usefull.
cheers have fun let the lady guide your blows.
Actually I'd say he's a fairly common special character choice for Bretonnians, definatly the most common of the 3 we have. Also, I know he is viewed as one of the best bang for his buck special characters in the game, and alot of people will cry that he's broken. Personally I think he's a great character and would definately give him a go if you got the model.
I've used him, he is indeed very good. An excellent character that doesn't cost a whole lot of points.
I don't know about using him in 2k games, since he can't be the general, but I would definitely strongly consider him at 3k.
I used him once. Unfortunately it was against skaven whose warpstone is magical and who has great combat resolution. In short, he got owned. Though in his defence the board had very little scenary for him to come out of. I think in 3000 points and above he is a good choice.
