Here's a question for all you Bretonnian vets out there.
Whats th perfect size for Knight of the Realm Units in a 2k points game?
For KotR @ 2k I run a unit of 9 and a unit of 12 (including characters). Anything bigger than 12 Knights is too big in any game size. And I'm not a fan of 6 man knight units unless they are Grail Knights.
9! Every unit in my list runs 9 knights... 2-3 units of 9 KOTR, 2 units of 9 Questing Knights, 1 unit of 8 Grail knights (Both chars here )and a unit of 3 peg. knights. Knights FTW!
i do at leat 2 if not 3 units of 9 KotR
units of 5-6 grails with characters
and a small unit of 5 questing knights to hunt down lone monsters
What about a large unit of Grail knights?
10 GK's + paladin or lord + A mounted damsel =12
Anyone fields a unit of GK's this size, if you do is it useful, and any ideas on how to protect it?
Also, If I buy two GK box sets, do I have to make 2 standard bearers, two musicians and two flail-guys, or is there enough material to assemble each knight the way I want?
I don't know the contents of the box set, I want to make a unit of 1 musician, 1 standard, and 8 lancers, do I have to buy a set and then 5 separate blisters?
