    Lost and the damned 2000pt

Hi, I just started a fantasy chaos army and there is a delema. My case isn't big enough to hold 2 full armies... So, I decided for 40k i will use some of my fantasy models as lost and the damned traitors.

So heres the list. Tell me if you think it can hold out in a game of 40k.

    2 melt guns
    AC w/ power fist
    Rhino
    Mutated hull
    Smoke
    Extra armor
    Mark undivided

    Troop2
    8 chaos marines = 256pt
    2 melt guns
    AC w/ power fist
    Rhino
    Mutated hull
    Smoke
    Extra armor
    Mark undivided

    Troop:
    15 traitors w/ laser pistols/ ccw = 120pt
    Infiltrate

    Troop:
    15 traitors w/ laser pistols/ ccw = 120pt
    Infiltrate

That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.

I've just got a couple suggestions you might want to toy around with.

Personally, I prefer some good mutants when it comes to LatD, but if you're going for traitors, you may want to grab up what they can get ya. For a list like this, I'd take advantage of them by getting those two Basilisks. With those, you could dump the Defiler, and have much better support fire for your advancing troops.

You've got some good cc troops here, so you want to have all the support you can to get them there, and the infiltrated traitors and Basilisks would do a fine job of that.

Next, while I'm more of a melta man myself, too, you might consider plasmas on those CSMs. If you'd have two Basis and two Oblits concentrating on the armor on the field, the plasmas might end up doing more for you.

Lastly, if you need points for rearranging things, drop the Mutated Hull on the Rhinos. Drive those babies in, and let 'em blow up ... at least that's how I use them. They make great additional cover for advancing troops.

Otherwise, I like the look of the list. There's a lot of variety here, but I think much of it would work well together.

It seems like a good list.

good advice, but i really think indirect fire is for poopoo heads:ninja: I like to be more direct. I was thinking about getting anouther defiler, do you think 2 regular ordinance vehicals may serve the same role. Plus, the basilisk is getting scraped for the new chaos codex, so it will be useless to me.

I'm not a fan of plasma, ever since that incident where i lost 4 guys in a row to overheating:x.

I see what your saying, but you would be surprised how much a diference AV12 makes for thier survival. It has served me well. Best part is since they are transports, they don't give the enemy victory points, which is great since they are somewhat expensive. However, dropping the rhinos all together would give me more space in my case, do you think infiltrating the marines would be a better choice?

Your CSM troops have the MCU, which in a LatD list changes them into Elite Choices. So get rid of the MCU. With the loss of the MCU, how are you going to summon the daemonettes?

I assume this is for a friendly game as the Spined Chaos Beast won't be able to play anywhere else.

Your General has the MoK which with "Ancient Enemies" does not allow you to take the deamonettes.

Traitors Ld is so low, don't expect them to actually do anything. For the same price you could get 20 mutants.
