    1850pt World Eaters

So i played chaos last edition and i have been playing thousand sons under the latest codex. However, ive been dabbling/playtesting other chaos lists to see what direction i want to move my collection in. Ill be posting lists after i play them for the first time over the next week or so (depending on when i can play). This is my worldeaters lists i played it against a blood angels army today (all jump infantry/Baal Preds) need some comments and criticism to straighten it out, thanks.

    HQ
"Kharn the Betrayer"-- 165 (rules of this character but not the model, i dont like using special chars so im just supplementing him in)

    Daemon Prince-- MoK, Wings-- 140

    Elite
8 Chosen-- IoK, 2 melta guns, 3 power weapons, rhino-- 274

    Troops
8 Berzerkers-- 2 plasma pistol, SC w/ fist, rhino-- 273

8 Berzerkers-- 2 plasma pistol, SC w/ fist, rhino-- 273

7 Berzerkers-- SC w/ fist, rhino-- 243 (Kharn goes here, didnt take p.pistols because i didnt want to lose anymore bodies than kharn is going to claim himself, also the big man is packing a p.pistol anyway)

    Fast Attack
8 Raptors-- IoK, 2 melta, asp champ w/ fist-- 240

    Heavy Support
    Predator-- lascannon sponsons-- 130

    Predator-- lascannon sponsons-- 130

    Total 1847, Bodies: 41, vehicles: 6

Well the basic plan is pretty obvious, my rhino all rush up and pop smoke, my predators give me long range support versus tanks (i was considering switching them both to shooty preds just for the sake of fluff but im unsure of my long range AT if i do). Raptors are great at hiding behind rhinos and swooping out for the charge. I have enough low ap and power weapons/fists to anihilate MEQs (which i did) and im only worried about over all flexibility. Im not really geared to fight horde armies (one reason why i wanted to switch the preds) but i figure volume of attacks should be fine for swamping the enemy. I was going to infiltrate my chosen but i like them better in a rhino to keep the target level high. My DP typically drew alot of fire as i expected and i think he smashed apart an assault unit before he was eaten alive by DC.

    Comments and criticism welcome.

    *cheers*

    I like your list overall.

I think the chosen unit is a bit odd. I would consider making them a normal squad with 2 Melta's and a Fist.

To deal with Horde's the odd flamer might be handy. I tend to have flamers on my raptors for that very reason.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.

i was thinking of flamers on raptors but they typically catch the criticism that they will kill too much before they charge, plus, with meltas they are mobile anti tank.

the chosen is something i experimented with lol. i like the set up because they spit out alot of attacks and can still drop a tank or some terminators. The unit butchers MEQ but the berzerkers do a pretty good job already... i suppose the unit is just there because i like it. but id change it if i got some decent suggestions.

    thanks for responce
