    Newbie Nurgle 1500

So I'm pretty new to the whole chaos scene so feel free to tell me if this list is terrible. I want to be competitive but I really don't mind losing. Well here is the list.

    Wings, Nurgle, Warptime

    Demon Prince - 165
    Wings, Nurgle, Nurgle’s Rot

    9 Plague Marines - 327
    2 Plasmaguns, Champion w/ Powerfist
    Rhino, Extra Armour

    8 Plague Marines - 304
    2 Plasmaguns, Champion w/ Powerfist
    Rhino, Extra Armour

    2 Plasmaguns, Champion w/ Powerfist
    Rhino, Extra Armour

    Obliterator – 75

Thanks in advance for the comments and criticism.

I'd drop the warp time prince and pick up a pred with the 2x las cannon and auto cannon. Spend the extra points on the nurgle marines to up the count on the 8 squads.

id like to hear your battle strategy for this army, or what you want them to do. Putting squads in rhinos, especially squads that by nature are a little more shooty, seems a little odd, but maybe you want to rush them ahead, get in shooting range, drop them out, and use them to tie up units for your daemon princes to come along and tear them up?

If having 2 daemon princes fits your battleplan, then use them, i personally use my plague marines to tie up enemy squads, and use a squad of raptors tied to a chaos sorc with nurgle's rot and warptime to devastate what is left of the charging squad after the plaguemarines lay down a hail of plasma/bolter fire and take very little wounds themselves. The blight grenades keep the marines from taking too many losses on the charge, and when the sorc and raptor get into CC, its over.

I have a squad of havocs to help with heavy weapons fire and tank killing. My army is only 1000pts, but if i were to go up to 1500 i would add (like someone else suggested) a predator , or defiler, some kind of heavy support.

I would swap one pair of plasmas for meltaguns (probably on the squad of nine) and then upgrade rot to warptime on the second prince. You can then operate these guys together polishing off squads in one shot or split them to tie up multiple units that can harm plague marines such as devastator squads.
