I'm going around and around in circles trying to create an army that is fun to paint and fun to play. The units I like are Raptors, Noise Marines, Lord of Change, Terminators and Obliterators. You might remember me from various Nurgle threads that I've spammed out acorss the forum. I've gone off Nurgle a little and would like to try make a list with something else. The Lord of Change is one of my favourite models in the who GW range and I'd like to inlude him in my 1500 point army. Also, no Rhinos or Tanks please, I dislike the models. So it's footslogging all the way. I damn well hate the Thousand Sons models, so I'll have to use Noise Marines for them if they are included. Ok, I'm losing you, let's get back on track.
Points limit is 500 points, to 1000 points leading up to 1500 points as that's what the tournament I'm playing in is based on.
You can use: DP or Sorcerer of Slaanesh or Tzeentch, Noise Marines, Thousand Sons, Terminators, Obliterators. Havocs, Raptors and Bikes.
You can't use: Anything Knhorn or Nurgle. Any Rhinos, Tanks, Defilers or Dreadnaughts.
I'm really fussy you see. I want good models and kick ass rules to boot and that causes me to agonise over which army to be. It's 2am and you guys are so helpful, I'll let you do the hard work for me
One more thing. My painting skills aren't fantastic and I'd like to have the Lord of Change as the centerpiece of my army. Therefore I'd like him left out until 1500 points so that I can improve my painting by practicing on the rest of the army.
(Just boosting my post count for more respect)
Here's a 500pt list, with a little bit of flexibility with TS and NM squads. I love special rules
Sorcerer of Tzeentch. Bolt of Change and Warptime
6 Thousand Sons, including Sorcerer with Doombolt
6 Noise Marines, 5 Sonic Blasters and 1 Blastmaster.
