HQ: Chaos Lord @ 125 Pts
    Power Weapon; Jump Pack
    Simple

    Elite: Chosen (10#, 205 pts)
    10 Chosen
    Flamer (x5)
If you can hide them close to the enemy you are going to do well, if not they are going to die horribly fast.

Troops: Chaos Space Marines (10#, 185 Pts)
    10 Chaos Space Marines Rhino
What role does this squad fulfill? Is it just to run up and add fire support or charge in and add its wieght to the combat? Its a rather odd choice IMHO.

Troops: Chaos Space Marines (20#, 370 Pts)
    19 Chaos Space Marines
    Meltagun (x2); Icon of Slaanesh
    Aspiring Champion
    Power Weapon; Mark of Slaanesh
The champion needs a powerfist! If this squad gets in combat with a MC or a walker then its dead. Also the champion doesnt have the MoS.

Fast Attack: Raptors (20#, 460 Pts)
    Flamer (x2); Icon of Slaanesh
    Aspiring Champion
    Power Weapon; Mark of Slaanesh
Hmm, this squad seems a little strange again, Its expensive and lacks punch. You definately want a power fist in there.

Fast Attack: Bikers (5#, 235 Pts)
    Meltagun (x2); Icon of Slaanesh
    1 Biker Champion
    Power Weapon; Mark of Slaanesh
    Powerfist.

    Heavy Support: Obliterators
    Obliterator @ 75 Pts

    Heavy Support: Obliterator
    Obliterator @ 75 Pts
    Solid

Heavy Support: Havocs (10#, 205 Pts)
    10 Havocs
    Flamer (x4)
    Rhino
Not too bad, perhaps throw in a aspiring champion in this squad.

You have two oblitorators and the bikers for anti tank. The oblits are quiet brittle nowadays.

I think you are better testing this army before commiting to it. I feel squads at 10 are much more cost effective than these large squads.

    Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for the feedback. I think you are bang on about the chosen. I like the squad itself but I think I will probably drop them in a Rhino in future. IN fact I think I see now why people are so hard on big units.

I guess hiding a powerfist in a unit of 20 guys means there is a whole lot of meat to get through before you get to the bone. I just left out the powerfist part.

I am going to redo the list a bit with an eye to including some powerfists and some more Rhinos. That should make it a bit more interesting.

What's wrong with a unit of CSM with bolters and a Rhino? I figure they are anti-troop. Practically everyone has infantry or at least stuff that I can take apart with bolters and charge in CC. This is an objective securing unit. They can charge in, dive in and hole up to save the game!

At least that was my idea...

Theres nothing wrong with the 'naked' unit I just wondered what your tactics would be. Id suggest throwing a champion with a fist in there but otherwise try it out!

    Can you suggest

I was hoping to stay away from Obliterators really. How much anti-armour do I need at 2000 points?

At least two seperate long range platforms (Preds, havocs and oblits), supported by multiple short range units (Fisters and Meltas). The more long ranges, the less short rangers you will need. Do remember that every chaos marine has krak grenades too.
