only three scoring units seems kinda risky, but at least your tanks will never die
    Thousand Bows (SM)
    Tau 3-1
    Tyranids 1-0
    Eldar 0-1

    Tau

    SW 0-1

    GK 1-0

It's scary having only the Plague marines as scoring units. And they are slow too, no rhinos to race to objectives or table quarters.

i would take out the land raiders and just put four obies in. Then take the rest of the points and put rhinos and more plague marines.

The land raiders should be ferrying the plague marines to the objectives but then they are taking away all of your AT. My suggestion would be to drop the LRs and the dakka pred for three AT preds and rhinos.

I've updated the list now. Here's the changes:

    1.
I removed one unit of Terminators and their Land Raider.
I still want at least some termies and try out the way the Land Raider works out in 5th.
Relentless USR: This applies mainly to bikes and terminators. You may move and fire heavy weapons and fire to full effect with rapid fire weapons and still charge.

    2.
Change #1 released some points for me. As I made the Land Raider a dedicated transport for the Terminators I filled all my Heavy Support slots with tanks. I took one for anti armour, one for anti infatry and one for that big juicy template. In 5th you are allowed to transport other units with a dedicated transport, according to my sources (which may be flawed).

    3.
How could I make an army with no rhinos??? Answer me gawdamnit! Especially now when it's made to work in 5th edition where only troops count as scoring. Troops are the only scoring units but they count as scoring till the last man. They must be destroyed entirely to remove their scoring status. With so few troops I want them to stand their ground and never leave. That's what Death Guard does best. After they're there the rhinos can drive around ramming other vehicles, as will the Land Raider.

    4.
The Power Fist will no longer grant an extra attack. That makes me want to try out the Power Sword for some riot controll. And with the riot controll comes some flamers to keep costs down.

    5.
In 5th edition, if the enemy scores a Weapon Destroyed result and you have no weapons on the vehicle the result will be treated as a Immobilised result instead. That is easily worked around with a pintle mounted weapon on the rhinos for a third of the cost for a basic marine. A weapon destroyed result does not render the vehicle stunned - good for Land Raider and Rhinos.

    Note:
These changes in the rules I have mentioned are just rumours now. But in leaked pdf-files and rumour-sites they have almost been blessed as true, as were the case with the new Codes Chaos where all rumours were true. But you never know...
