    2000 pts list good or bad?

    this is my bros army list and i have to say he isnt that clever (hes 10) he plays my necron army all the time and frequently loses so he asked me to post this.

    Lash Prince - 155
    Lash Sorcerer -150 (PI)
    Greater Daemon - ???

    Dreanought 2 close combat weapons heavy flamer
    Dreadngouht missile pod and twin linked lasannon (monolith hunter)
    5 Possesed Khorne champ Rhino

    10 Chaos space marines - plasma gun and missile launcher icocg
    9 Plague Marines fist 2 meltaguns rhino PI
    8 Plaguemarines fist 2 flamers rhino PI

    Vindicator Daemonic possession twin inked bolter(for armanet destroyed purposes)
    Vindicator Daemonic possession twin inked bolter
    8 Havocs - 3 missile launchers 1 lascannon Icon of glory

    50 points over (2051) wat do u think should happen to this?

    Nothing wrong here, but I would consider giving him somewhere to hide, as in a raptor squad. Out in the open, he can be killed by lascannons. Does PI mean personal Icon?

    Drop it. He has few champions to beam it down upon. it will give him 100 points to play with. (50 after repaying the overload)

    Drop it. This thing has near to no chance at killing a monolith, and against necrons, it will be destroyed. Relying on a missile pod?

    Hey, Possessed are too random to be good. Drop them, they also cost far too much.

    No, do not do this. Plasma gun and a missile launcher is a no-no. You are mixing weapons. Two plama is a better choice, or two melta. But chaos is a general in-your-face with troops. We have uber-grit, and have too many guys here to sit around and shoot with a missile.

    Swap the meltas with the normal squad, and give these guys plasma. It suits them, as they get FNP. It also is hell for necrons.

    You do know the destroyer gets to choose the weapon, right? The bolter is near useless.

    Okay, he kind of needs a new list. He may like thousand sons. AP3 hell on necrons. Plasma is also good for the necrons. Try using obliterators. Them and vindicators are hell with lash.

    Nab a raptor squad, and stick the sorcerer in it. Give the Raptors IoK. First turn charge.

    Hit the normal warrior squads with the vindicator templates. It will hurt, and perhaps cause phase out. Remember, he cannot come back if there are none left, even if there is a monolith nearby. If you can take out a warrior squad each turn, that would be great. Direct all fire at one squad until it dies completely. Unless a tomb spyder is near, you are safe. But kill each squad completely. Perhaps nab some Rhinos with the spare points.

    Also, decide. Are you going for armour, or none of it? One rhino is out in the open. In the case of going for lots of it, get a predator with sidesponson lascannons instead of the havocs.. Get a rhino for every squad. Get more squads. Try Bersekers.

    Out of interest, what does the necron player run?

    I love the greater daemons. My favorite unit in CSM.

    I am not a fan of the chaos dreads. That is just me though.

    Possessed are also very risky to run.

    Drop the missile launcher from this squad because if you move you cannot use it anyway if you use it you cannot move...give them either dual plasmas or dual meltas.

    I don't think these need the rhinos...but that is up to you. Also give the second squad dual meltas or plasmas as flamers won't do them any good.

    The twin linked won't actually matter if they chose that weapon to be destroyed as it is still one weapon, it doesn't count as two. So if it is destroyed it is destroyed.
