    1850 - Tournament

    Hi there!

    I have a tournement to play on next weekend, but i am not playing WH40K since the New Chaos Marine Codex 5th Edition and i've just noticed my army changed entirely!

    I played on past with Infiltrate, Autocannons, Tank Hunter + Infiltrate, Daemonettes, but no Vehicles!

    I have made a list, but i need all help you can give me! The list shall be send on next Sunday! Thanks for all support!

    Oh, by the way!

    The Tournement list is for 1850 points!




    HQ:
    * DP: 155 pts
    Wings, MOS, LOS

    *DP: !55
    Wings, Warp Time


    Troops:

    * 3x 8 chaos marines w/ 1 meltaguns (Champ w/ PF) + rhino w/ EA: 220 pts
    220x 3= 660 pts

    * 8 Khorne Berserks (Champ w/ PF) + Rhino w/ EA: 258 pts


    Fast:

    6 Raptors w/ 2 meltaguns: 140 pts


    Heavy:

    3 x 2 obliterators: 150 pts
    150 x 3= 450

    TOTAL: 1818 (32 pts left!!)

    Nicely setup, though I don't think you need two.


    Troops:

    * 2 x 10 chaos marines w/ 2 meltaguns (Champ w/ PF) + rhino w/ EA: 260 pts
    260 x 2= 520 pts

    Drop the extra armour on the rhino...it is not needed and get these squads IoCG for they are not fearless.

    * 8 Khorne Berserks (Champ w/ PF) + Rhino w/ EA: 258 pts

    Drop the ea off the rhino it is not needed other then that looks good


    Fast:

    8 Raptors w/ 2 meltaguns (champ w/ PF) + MOK: 250 pts

    Give them IoCG over MoK because again they are not fearless and though the extra attack is nice...you don't want them to go running off the table and become useless.


    Heavy:

    3 x 2 obliterators: 150 pts
    150 x 3= 450 pts

    I suggest getting at least one pred, possibly two especially at this point level considering your only armour is rhinos...you are going to need it so your troops don't get blown up...Other then that you have a nice solid list. I would then use extra points for more upgrades and such.

    TOTAL: 1788 (62 pts left!!)

    Both nice, though they'll attract alot of attention. It might be a good idea to give the 2nd DP the Mark of Tzeentch, and maybe Doombolt too - total additional cost = +30pts.

    Nice classic set-up, though I much prefer Plasmaguns. I don't think you should both with EA. It's too expensive now. Stick with Smoke and getting your guys out on round 2.

    This is exactly the same as my first unit of Raptors - and they really can kick as, especially when teamed up with a flying HQ.

    Yup, they look nice.

    TOTAL: 1788 (62 pts left!!) - DP extras + another Berzerker + Dozers for your Rhinos.

    If you lose the EA, you'd have 92 points, which if you scrapped one Obliterator, could get you the DP extras (+30), and a TLLC/HB Predator (+135), giving you more anti-Horde weapons

    With this type of list I'd either suggest getting more armor (pred like they've said) or drop all of the armor. Because at 1850 pts your Rhino's will be dead on turn 1 easily due to all their anti-tank stuff has just three rhinos to shoot at. And boy howdy, will they shoot.
