Think having both of them in one list is too much?
I like the idea of having them supporting lots of Daemonettes, Fiends, and Seekers.
I haven't done the math, but I'm pretty sure you could fit 6 squads of Daemonettes, 3 squads of Fiends, and 3 squads of Seekers.
Interestingly enough Im thinking the exact same thing, except im going to be using Fateweaver to follow Skarbrand around and make him a blitzkrieg of death =). For the troops it is mainly going to be Bloodletters, with a unit of Horrors and a unit of Plaguebearers.
However, I do not really like any of the Daemonic Elites, or Fast Attack. The models just arent all that, and the cost is absurd. However, I think a troop heavy army of Daemons will work quite well =)
I used them both in a fun game with 3 flying tzeentch-dp's and some cc-orientated units. It was just awesome. First the big ones, shrugging off everything (not taking ANY wound) and then about 2 units every turn... You have to ignore one flank and just try to march to the other end using combats as cover for your deepstriking units (i recommend some plaguebearers near fateweaver). But under 2000 points it does not work. BTW my opponent played guards.
