I am trying for a mostly Khorne Theme, but I think I may have to add a squad of Plague Bearers w/Icon. I dont have points listed as right now this is the rough makeup. Looking for feedback on the build being able to handle all comers. Thanks
Herald on Juggernaught
5 Flesh hounds
5 Screamers of Tzeentch
8 Bloodletters w/icon
Demon Price w/wings
Soul Grinder- Phlegm
HQ: Thirster is fine but I'm not too keen on the herald. He is ok but only contributes more power weapon attacks. Presumably he is joining bloodletters so appart from the extra strength he is a bit pricy for what you get. For a simmilar cost you could buy 6 more blood letters which would contribute more combat power and more importantly increase the body count for unit survivability.
Elites: Like them. Swapping the herald for 2-3 Bloodcrushers could also be fun.
Troops: Upgrade to 30 bloodletters. Considder putting the icon in with the horrors but I suppose they tend to keep the range a bit too open.
Fast: Screamers are ok but I would drop them to 3 strong for points. Hounds are ok
Heavy: With only 1 tank in the army it will attract all the high strength firepower and not last long. Either get 2 Soulgrinders or 2 daemon princes.
Winged princes are ok but very expensive. Suggest either Prince with MoT and Bolt for use in anti tank role or Prince with MoS and Pavine to help get your bloodletters in combat. The extra D6 movement can make all the difference sometimes, or when used in conjunction with flamers of Tzeentch it can work wonders.
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
I will re-tool with points tonight change the make up, you brought up some good points. I like the bone crushers, but will have to wait as none of my shops are carrying them.
