Here is a list I am thinking of getting into. My only question is are the flesh hounds really of any use? If they even look at a bolter they will die as normally they don't have the numbers to withstand any fire. Here the list, the (m) is for the units that will be in my main Daemonic Assault list.
255pts Bloodthirster w/BotBG (m)
255pts Bloodthirster w/ BotBG
145pts x3 Bloodcrushers w/ Icon (m)
80pts x2 Bloodcrushers
80pts x2 Bloodcrushers
185pts x10 Bloodletters w/ Icon (m)
185pts x10 Bloodletters w/ Icon
160pts x10 Bloodletters (m)
160pts x10 Bloodletters
205pts Daemon Prince w/ MoK, Wings, Unholy Might, Iron Hide (m)
145pts Daemon Prince w/ MoK, Unholy Might, Iron Hide (m)
145pts Daemon Prince w/ MoK, Unholy Might, Iron Hide
Its a very shooty less list but I think it will pack a lot of punch. The DP with wings is just to add more mobility in case there is a bunch of skimmers, same with the bloodthirsters.
One thing also is nothing gets an armor save against anything in this list. I think there is a good core of troops that maul anything. Bloodcrushers, well there enough said. Would anyone combine my 2 small units? or would the x2 units of 2 be more useful? I figured 4 would be a bit of overkill in one unit but it may be useful to hold the icon.
I can drop a Bloodcrusher and a couple bloodletters from a couple squads to fit in a unit of hounds but I can't see them paying for there points. But mind you they will probably go fairly unscathed for a couple turns as there is some real nasty's out there that would be considered a priority target over them. Any other Khorne lovers out there have any input through there own games played?
flesh hounds are worthless unless you can use them to flank. then they are useful, but you have to be smart with it. you could also use them as bait etc

Or you can use them to hold an enemy until your main army gets there.
I'm not sure how they'll be effected by 5th, but they are beasts which means the cav charge, plus fleet. pop them in first turn with some other units, and your enemy will need to decide whether to shoot a non scoring unit, or let them alone.
Run them up and hold the enemy in place until the footsloggers get there.
