This army is for a tournament i'm going to participate in. The aim of the list is to be as powerfull as possible. It's a chaos wing, which means for those who don't know that it's based on terminators and obliteraors, much like the deathwing, but meaner ^^.
Demon Prince: wings + lash of submission + Slaanesh
One of the best HQ configuration in the chaos armies... so i take it ^^.
4 Terminators: 1 combi-melta + 2 combi-plasma + 1 heavy-flamer + 1 chain fist + chaos glory
Aunit wich can be confronted to a lot of threats and inflict a lot of damage.
4 Terminators: 1 combi-melta + 3 combi-plasma + 1 chain fist+ chaos glory + 1 power fist
same as above with more h-2-h power
4 Terminators: 1 combi-melta + 2 combi-plasma + 1 reaper autocanon + 1 chain-fist + chaos glory + 1 powerfist
The reaper autocanon is a bit expensive for what it's worth, but always usefull.
5 chaos space marines: Aspiring champion + chain fist + melta + chaos glory + rhino
a very usefull troop in a chaos-wing based list.
5 chaos space marines: Aspiring champion + chain fist + plasma + chaos glory + rhino
same as above with plasma
5 chaos space marines: plasma + chaos glory
A unit used to capture a close objective and to guard it.
5 Lesser demons:
I had 65 more points to use and those guys can capture an obejctive with their deept strike quite easily.
What do you think?
I already tried a similar army list in a 1800 point tournament and i finished 5 out of 26, but it's harder to make a 1500 points so I'm asking for your advises.
Fluff and model wise I like the list plenty, but I'm worried about the small troop units. If your tournament is going to be using 5th Ed rules, those units are kind of small IMHO. Even though they are scoring to the last man, 5-6 guys can be taken down rather easy with consentrated fire. But maybe your experience with the list says it works, using terminators as distractions. /shrug.
I like the two units with rhinos, and the oblits are awesome.
Age is a state of mind, and since I have no mind, I don't age.

I like it.
If you make your troops successful at objective capturing, you could be the feared oponent
Prepare for troops hunting. You have low numbers at troops and without objectives most games could be lost.
But I haven't played 5thED game yet
... try Czech language ;-)
Sorry for the late arrival of my answer. Anyway, here goes:
Small troops? True, but since they are in a rhino (which dies to protect them) they never show their faces. The meltagun + powerfist is for defence purpose. A new player will automaticaly concentrate fire on terminators, oblits and the Demon Prince. Since they are resilient targets (2+ save for every one and the Demon prince has T5+W4, not great, but still good) i am not afraid. An experimented player might concentrate fire on my troops units, but will be destroyed by terminators + oblits, if he seperates fire, i win. This list is giving a hard time to my ennemy, terminators or troops?
With the test i've done (5ed), it has worked pretty well, my oppenent, playing DA with huge fire power, stoped playing on turn 3, eventhough i made a deployment mistake and i had bad luck (didn't pass my psychic tests, missed fire with plasma cannon and so on). My tournament is this week-end, when i'm done, i'll report to you guys either with or or with a
As I said, here is the result of my army list in my tournament:
The tournament was heavy in cheesy lists (3 fire prism, an imperial guard with only deep striking units with plasma/meltas, tyranids with 5 carnifex, 2 Hive Tyrants and so on). My list is pretty cheezy and i endeed up with the 15 most competitive list in the turnament (out of 32), the organising crue underestimated my list, for my extrem pleasure .
I played against pretty heavy list:
- Heavily troop list for starters: ultramrines (around 42 marines in 2 units of 6 with lascan and plasma, 1 unit of 10 going for close combat, 1 unit to escort his lord and 22 scouts in 3 units) this supported by 2 whirlwind and a vindicator. = win for me
- then a grey knight list, pretty cheesy too: 21 grey knight with a total of 7 psycanons, 3 dreadnoughts with twinlinked lascanon and missil launcher + an assassin vindicare. = draw
- a 13th company list with every thing using the special rule scouts = win for me
- a 2v2 combat with one cheesy player with one friendly in both groups. = draw
- an anihilation game vs tyranids with lots of huge creatures + genestealers = draw
- black templars with heavy fire power for the last game = win for me
I finished 4th out of 32. The 5 men squad on foot with no equipment is a pretty good unit, stealth, can capture objectif and can bring anti-troup fire support, gonna use it more.
This list is VERY effective but i'll bring some change to have a bit more troops.
