The Best There Is, The Best There Was and The Best There Ever Will Be
take off the stats and cost of each model
break it down into:
fast attack cost
heavy support cost
most of the people on here will know the rules for the models so theres no need to add them either. and if you break it down as such it becomes easier to read and more people would be likely to help you.
but you need to edit your post and remove the points of each model and stats as its against Games Workshop disclosure agreement... i.e. somebody might get into a spot of trouble
You can put the points cost of each unit in the list but not individual items. Also you need to tell us your squad sizes at the very least.
Anyway, on to the units.
HQ: In a 1000 point list 2 HQs are too much. Daemon weapons of khorne are certainly fun but unreliable. Chainfists and PFs suck on HQ models who loose their main benefit of high initiative. Try to keep the HQ points low in 1000 point lists. A single winged prince with a mark is a good start.
Elites: Dreads are unreliable too. 1/3rd of the time they don't do what you want and sometimes they shoot your own men and wave their AV10 backsides at the enemy's targeting scopes. Possessed sadly are not worth the points for their effectiveness. If you have some of the models (eg from the battleforce) just mix the bits in with standard CSMs for a little variation.
Troops: Berserkers need a rhino. CSMs should have 2 special weapons (both the same) and no heavy weapons as it cripples the manouverability. Drop the plasma pistol from the champion as you don't want that overheating and killing a 70 point model. It will only fire once per game usually anyway. Also get IoCG or IoK for them.
I would reccomend a third troop choice then start thinking about rhinos for all 3 or some supporting preds or vindicators. Oblits are good if you decide not to get lots of tanks. For 1500 points add a 4th troop choice to get a nice solid chunk of your army able to grab objectives. Then start looking for more supporting uinits to cover the weaknesses of the troops such as terminators or raptors. Our troop choices are among the best in the game and with 5th edition placing so much on scoring units we should always pack in plenty of them.
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
dreadnoughts while good, tend to either kill your own men, if you dont have another dreadstood next to it to take the fire, and waste a turn, but i like dreads, so i say keep it, add a CC weapon and add another of the same spec
leaving 140 to play around with, I would say take a Karmoon special, 4 terminators 3 plasma combi's, 1 flamer
if you are going for a heavy CC army, i would recomend making your first troop choice the same as your second... problem i see occuring is against tanks, maybe tailor the troop choice to have melta bombs
anyway, this is off the top of my head, but its a start
