    1500 Nurgle Army- desperate help needed

    Thanks for reading- haven't used my Chaos in a while and getting back into them. My new club only ever uses 1500 point lists, and I'm waay too used to 2000+, so please any hep about what is too posts heavy, or just plain ineffective would be much appreciated. Also any advice on tactics for this army would be great.

    Terminators x5 (thanks go out to Karmoon)
    4x combi-plasma, heavy flamer

    Khorne Berzerkers x10
    Sull champ, power weapon, plasma pistol.

    Land Raider (Berzerkers inside)
    Damonic possession

    Its unfortunately 40points over, which I need to cut down. I'm a bit undecided over the land raider- seems like such a bit target that it will die first turn. Any criticisms would help.

    mixing weapons in csm squads is never a good idea... far range with close range are ineffective. i'd say get 2 squads of 8 plague marines one with two plasma the other with 2 melta... put in champions if you have the pts. you could drop the LR, since it's your only tank, i would seeing as all the anti-tank would be all over you. drop it for a rhino for the berserkers and the plague marines i mentioned, effective and more choices the enemy has to make. if you get rhinos and want a heavy choice, get a defiler or pred to get more armour in... if you don't want any rhinos pull in some havocs or oblits.

    Whilst nice, I think having two daemon princes in 1500 pts is a bit much. A lot of points in those two models.

    I like what your trying to do here, i'd swap the plasma and melta around, I'd also like to see a powerfist in one of those squads to deal with big critters (preferably in the Melta/Rokit squad).

    Drop the plasma pistol and the daemonic possession and you will be fine on points.

    HQ: Put MoN back on this guy to make him bolterproof

    Elites: Get one PF or CF on the termies. IoT or IoN woould help the survivability but then the points cost starts to creep up.

    Troops: Get a PF on both plague champs. Get 3 rhinos following Zim's advice.
    If you don't use rhinos the berserkers get shot to bits as they are more dangerous than PMs and much easier to kill. If you want to footslog then all PMs is the way to go so you don't offer a jucy & easy target.

    Heavy: I don't like them, too static and not enough bodies. Swap them for oblits if you are taking no rhinos or for preds/vindicators if you do.

    decent choice, but i would of stuck lash on him to get your khornates into combat sooner

    Elities

    this is perfect, tried and tested, by many different players now, I personally dont think you need a Mark, they should do there job just fine

    Troops:

    Bezerkers x10
    Skull champ, power sword

    Plague Marines x10
    Champ, Power Weapon, Plasma x2

    Champ, Power Fist, Melta x2
    Definately need a rhino for the berzerkers, otherwise its more than likely you will have wasted 200pts +

    Heavy Support:

    Havocs x5
    2 x rokkit, 2 x Lascannon, MoN
    I agree with madcat for once, these will probably be the biggest target on the field, i.e. your gonna have these guys for maybe 1 turn, maybe 2 if your lucky, rhinos man! even if you decide to footslog your plagues, you will have some nice mobile cover, i would also recomend a obliterator, if you have the points spare, with taking out the havocs your a bit light on the anti tank front

    theres my 2 cents anyway
