I am not really sure if I'm the one to give people advice really, as I am extremely inexperienced playing with both the new rules and the new codex.
But I wouldn't be me if I didn't
So, if you shave some points from the sorcerer (familiar and Rot) and lose one of the PMs in each of the 8 man squads (Nurgles number is seven) and drop the combi weapons from your champs you'd get points enough to get another five man squad and equip it with two plasmas. Then move your Champ from the plasma squad into the flamer squad as this squad (man, I use that word "squad" quite frequently here) is bound to get into CC.
You'd like to keep the plasmas out of CC anyway, right?
These ideas are only purely (get the irony, right?) theoretical and not based on experience.
