Here's my Mono-Tzeentch list; most all of you are going to think I'm crazy, but I've found this to be surprisingly effective.
Lord of Change w/ Boon, We Are Legion, Master of Sorcery, Breath of Chaos (360 )
Screamer x 4
Soulgrinder w/ Phlegm x2
Horror x 8 w/ Changling, Bolt
Horror x 8
Horror x 8
Current record: 12W, 2L, 0D
Previous iterations of this list included more Horrors and one less SG. Either build works - I find the Horrors to be more effective against things like orks en masse, gunline guard, or if you need more objective capturing things. So, it's a tossup, but overall, there's not a huge difference.

HQ: Fateweaver is good. Other greater daemon is too expensive. Just take legion or drop it for 2 chariots with legion, MoS & bolt.
Elites: Some units of 3 flamers can work wonders.
Troops: Bolt can be dropped. I would reccomend 1 Icon to help bring in units safely while trying to keepthem 6" from the fateweaver.
Heavy: I'm a big fan of MoT Princes especially with the reroll save from your HQ. 140 points for bolt & MoT is good. Adding gaze as well is also a nice option but they cost more and it's a pity they cannot take 'we are legion'.
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
Well a SG with a rerollable cover save works just as well .
Though I don't think this would hold up vs any mech list or nidzilla at 1500.

I hate mono-tzeentch, its just too difficult to play. But I'lldo my best with what little help I can give.
2 greater daemons in 1500 can become major points sinks. Not that they're not good, they're great! But if you take one out you can take much more.
Try to up your horor units, the more the better I always say.
When it comes to grinders, it's either 3 or none. Go with DP's they'll run about the same and dont go down to lucky shots.
