If you are thinking of going over 1500points, you definitally need some terminators. I would also suggest getting some anti-armour in the form of either obliterators, havocs or predators. A defiler is always a good addition to just about any army. And definitally get those marines some rhinos to get to the action safer and quicker.

firstly, the plasma and flamer do not go well together:
24" and an almost one-shot weapon dont sync
either a) separate them into 2 5-man squads
or b) get another 10 csm's and split them up accordingly to something like 2 flamers in one squad and 2 plasmas in the other (i would go with b)

i dont agree with the defiler, tho termies/oblits are definitely a great choice

    my other suggestion is:
1 rhino and 1 pred if you want to go a bit more mechanized

I'd get rhinos for your squads, and 3 obliterators
That way you'll have your transportation needs down
And have one of the best unit's in all of 40k
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
    Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
    Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)

Some raptors to support the assault of your Daemon Prince may help him to achieve his potential in combat, because otherwise he is going in alone, and may get countercharged by something that may kill him. Get a raptor squad of 5, with a champion with lightining claws, which will provide him with some help and some meat shields in combat.

Instead of the 10 chaos marines with flamer and plasma gun and MOT, you might want to consider some actual thousand son's. AP3 Bolters are great, I don't know what you hope to achieve with a plasma gun and flamer, but these guys also gt a 4+invulneralbe and a sorcerer to lead them. Give him doombolt to give you some troop fire support.

Don't worry about rhinos if you take thousand son's, their survivability is good enough. Be sure not to get them into combat though.

Obliterators, as many others have suggested, are good anti-armour and anti-troop soldiers, so employ the cult.
