hi masters of table top gamin!..
i need advice for a 500pts deathgurad army...
all i have in mind are:
8 termies -> 310pts
1 heavy flamer, 2 power fists, 1 combi melta, i icon of chaos glory
6 plague marines -> 191pts
2 flamers, personal icon
with 1 plague champion...
so 501pts in total..
am i missing something here??? i need help...
ts for a beginners tourney...
Welcome to the forums. This thread would get much better responses in the right spot. I'm going to move it to the Chaos Space Marines army lists sub-forum.
welcome here at LO!
i suspect there is no force organisation chart limit? i'd also suspect you don't have to capture any objectives in those games? in most tournaments it's not allowed to exceed the given point limit even by one point so be sure this is not an issue here.
if those are true, you've made some list that should be really hard to kill for your opponents.
it is, however, a slow list without any long ranged weapons so you might get problems with lists that include transports or fast units.
the smallest change i'd suggest would be to drop the combi-melta terminator to get a rhino for your plaque marines which makes them faster and better able to go where the termies are needed before they become available, if you plan to deepstrike them.
that brings up a new problem which is: a lone rhino gets destroyed fast, even at this point level. so you might want to drop the termies all together and get another troop squad with or without rhino, what about some chaos marines with melta guns? this way you get a list like that:
10 chaos space marines:
icon of chaos glory
7 plaque marines
497 points in total.
this list still has no long range guns but it is fast enough to use it's short range ones.
enough suggestions for now, hope it helped, have fun.
thanks guys!!!... i'll try this build against nids and orks...
