I am curious if anyone has tried something similar to this and how it worked out for them.
(post was inspired by the chaos spawn box I recently assembled...beautiful kit, so many fun bits).
(x4) Herald of Tzeentch (Master, Breath, Boon, Chariot)
(x3) Daemon Prince of Tzeentch (MoT, Flight, Master, Bolt, Boon, Breath)
(x3) 3 Flamers
(x1) 5 Horrors with Changeling (bolt)
(x2) 5 Horrors with Icon (bolt)
With 7 sources of Boon of Mutation I imagine this could put out a disgusting number of spawn in a game. Additionally, there are 10 sources for Breath of Chaos and 7 sources for Bolt of Tzeentch. The list is fast and very, very shooty with 4 up invulnerable saves across the board. However, in general this is a very small army with fragile stats aside from the 4++. The other main weakness would be in close combat but I wonder if the Spawn could eventually help offset that. Regardless it seems like it would be a lot of fun.
How many chaos spawn models do you think this list would need?
ive behin working on a boon list as well one thing i think your going to need is sum good tar pits like nurglings to get troops locked in combat so you can sit your Chariots out side and spawn up sum new troops. now this list (as fun as it is) has sum bug problems one is if your dealing with a mech list your in big trouble and if its a kill pont game well need i say more...
