Hey guys, I thought I might run my Khorne goal list by you guys so you could tell me what you think.
-Skarbrand The Exiled One
-Herald of Khorne
Iron Hide (Free w/juggernaut)
-Flesh Hounds 10
Mark of Khorne
Mark of Khorne
I'm not sure how I'll decide to divide my assault force yet, but I think Skarbrand might end up going in the reserve group. I just think that if he deepstrikes in first turn, all he'll have is one breath attack before all my enemies guns sight in on him. I'd rather have him come in turn 2 or 3 so he can help out my units that are chasing down armor and what not.
HQ: Skarbrand is good but watch out for his effects when you assault into cover. your daemons will be I1 and will suffer a lot of hits before they get a chance to attack. Drop the herald. Compare his cost and stats to a unit of 3 bloodcrushers and I think you will agree.
Heavy: Grinder is ok but I would like to see 3 of them to give you some shooting. Also a lone grinder will attract all the enemy antitank firepower and shouldn't last too long.
Have you thought about a bloodthirster as your second HQ and 2 winged princes. Could be devastating.

Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
I wouldn't go for Skarbrand. Re-rolling hits will help your enemies too much, especially considering you have no grenades.
A single Grinder is going to get picked out pretty quickly.
For Mono-Khorne, I'd consider something like this:
2x BT-might, blessing
3x 10 Bloodletters
All day hitty, with some shooting from the Grinders (not too reliable, but fills up points nicely).
I wouldn't bring Khorne Princes because of T5, Grinders end up cheaper and bring the S10 pain, AV13, fleet, and can shoot if need be.
