    Played it tonight against a Chaos list that was;

    Abadon
    3xTerminators w/ combi-meltas

    10 undivided w/lascannon, rhino
    6 plaguemarines w/2x melta, fist, rhino

    4 oblits

    and lost. He stayed in his rhinos until turn five, and nothing could get through. Penertrated three times, glanced three times and only immobilised one of them.

    So bumping up to 1500 and thinking about this;

    Instruments are filler, don't waste your points.

    You have a big obvious target and pretty much no mobility afterwards. I'd look into another BT or some fast stuff to go with it (Fiends, Grinders, winged DPs, Flesh Hounds, Furies even). Once you pop that armor, you need to be able to munch on the gooey bits inside. Bloodletters are too slow to get there on their own, they need fast units to tie up the guns so they can get into chopping range.

    Played a couple of games against the soon to be old Tyranids last night - they guy was a very experienced Tyranid player and knew his way around his army. Genestealers are annoying and will wipe out anything they touch in a turn (cough bloodthirster cough) but my MC's are superior to his.

    5xhorrors really arn't cutting it - they don't pump out enough shots, they die too easily, and are a real liability in kill points. So, my new list is looking something like this;

    Also, talked to a mono-khorne daemon player last night who insisted that bloodcrushers were massively important to daemon lists because outside of nurgle, they're the most survivable unit in our army. I disagree - too slow, too easy to ignore. Agree of disagree?
