Deamon Prince 120pts

3 Oblitorators 225 pts
Total Points; 983
None of the troops have special Weapons yet.
The army is designed to sit and shoot at CC armys before mauling them in CC or charging straight at ranged armies while providing fire support.
any advice on units, upgrades, change, anything would be appriciated.
After experimenting with the list I have made some changes to it depending on whether I'm facing a CC army or a shooty army. I Decidied to drop the Bloodthirster as very costly for a unit that would have to be summined from reserve, eating a champion, redundancy for the deamon princ, etc

Upgrades in the CSMs and the Deamon Prince ( any advice in which ones to pick?)
You definately need Rhinos for your troops, they are an absolute must. I'd also look into removing the termies to further upgrade your troops, our troops are our most valueable asset. The CSM squads should be 10 man strong, with 2 meltaguns/flamers for extra tank hunting/swarm killing. Also your Daemon prince needs wings for added mobility, a walking Prince will get shot to bits before reaching anything viable to kill.
The plan was to drop the termintors into the enemy army hopefully to tie up some of the shootier units ( A certain unit of Lootas come to mind....) These should should prevent some of the units being shot up before they get across the board.
Probaby drop one of the oblitorators and maybe one of the termies to give the extra points. What do you think?
start with basics, a powerfist should be in every squad. it is a lot of points, but it is immence versatility. it allows your squads to be anti tank, anti monstrous creature. second, while you do not need rhino's and they do take a certain amount of skill to use, they make getting your troops where you want them much easier. they turn a turn 3 or 4 charge with your berserkers into a turn 2 or turn 3 charge.
at 1000 points you will not see a lot of land raiders, they cost 1/4 of your points allowance each, so you do not need to dedicate 3 oblits to taking them out, but it is a matter of choice as they have lots of flexibility.
your demon prince will be a target and without wings may never get into the fight, many advance him behind their rhino's giving him a 4+ cover save, almost everyone says give him a MoT or a MoN for either a better save, or higher toughness. and warptime will give him a lot more than what MoK will.
termies are a lot of points at this level of play, you will have to decide what is more important to you, 1-2 oblits or a squad of 4 terms with combi plasma and a chain fist and heavy flamer?
