    The Satyr (2000pts Slaaneshi Warband)

    The Satyr - Slaaneshi Warband

My warband is coming along and has expanded over the past month, with the addition of another CSM squad (converted from Sternguard which I converted from Tactical Marines - Oh how the might fall) and a unit of Chosen (converted from the Dark Angels Veteran Box - Pics soon!). A sorceror will join the Noise Marines with the Noise Champion and the other with a CSM squad, I am yet to convert them so I am using a Warsmith and a old tzeentch sorceror at the moment.

An earlier variant of this list (at 1000 pts) performed very well against orks, the Slaanesh Sorceror had a great time picking off the Warboss with the Forceweapon and the Vindicator performed admirably in its first ever battle.

Now I ask how would this work against a Space Marine drop pod force (say 7 drop pods with 2 dreadnoughts, 4 Tactical Squads and an Honour gaurd unit with Forcecommander), I would personally remove the Havoc Launchers and see if I could afford Warptime for the sorcerors. What are your musings?

Vindicator with DP should be 145. Also a lash sorcerer is 125. You may want to go through and double check all of your points costs before playing with this army.

    Whoops forgot to leave input...

The Raptors are hard to use and from my experience a point sink. They never seem to make up there points. I've never experimented with the "OMG Plasma Dakka!!" on the Chosen. It shouldn't be to terrible though. Oh, and your termies are in a very odd configuration for both walking and deepstriking. They have no long range weaponry which is why walking and DS is bad. They are combat Termies which is why DS and walking is bad. They either need a weapon revamp or a nice shiny Land Raider to ride in. Other than that it looks alright.
