Any Idea what tactics to use or what list to take vs deamonhunters or GKs?
what no-one has any advice?
It depends what the DH army have in their list. All Grey Knight units come equipped with Force Weapons, which grants a +2 strength bonus is CC, acts as a power weapon for GKT's and PAGK Brother Captains, and a Nemisis Force Weaon for GKGM (which works differently to every other force weapon, they dont cause instant death they reduce wounds to zero), needless to say try to keep out of CC with them unless your planning on mobbing them with high initiatve charactors.
DH's dont really have much in the way of anti tank, so a tank list might be a good way to go. One list that did very well against my GK's was a SM Drop Pod list. Another was a CSM army whose troop choices all had AP3 weapons.
One thing you need to rememer about GK's is that they're just expensive Space Marines, they only have the 3+ save as a SM, they can't have frag grenades and one 5 man squad costs 150 points.

1k Sons work wonders. They are roughly the same points as the average GK but they can kill the GKs easily and rapidly at close range. I've had a lot of luck using Small squads of noise marines. Particularly 7-8 of them around a Champ with a power weapon and a Doom Siren. But the GKs have no real answers for Land Raiders with the exception of them using a land raider. Which cirpples them because that means they will be even more outnumbered. Blast weapons are a waste of time on them. And remember focus on killing whatever GKs are deployed at the start of the game. They are the only actual troops. Any of them which deep strike are fast attack.
