2000 point doubles tournament. CSM + CD

Got a CSM buddy fielding this:

    Demon Prince
    Wings
    Mark of Slaanesh
    Lash of Submission

    2 Vindicators

Predator w/ autocannon and heavy bolters

    Thousand Son Aspiring Sorcerer
    Doombolt
    8 Thousand Sons

    10 Chaos Space Marines
    Chaos Icon
    Meltagun
    Aspiring Champion
    Powerfist
    Combi-Melta
    Rhino

I was thinking of fielding this:

Herald of Slaanesh w/ Chariot, Unholy Might, Soporific Musk, Icon -115

    4 Fiends w/Unholy might 130
2 Blood Crushers of Khorne w/ Fury of Khorne 90

    9 Blood Letters w/ Icon 169
    9 Blood Letters w/Fury of Khorne 154
    13 Daemonettes -182

    Soul Grinder w/ Tounge -160

I cannot use his icon to deep strike, and i wont drop this icon. I had too much bad luck without in a couple games. Tell me what you think? we plan on forfeiting the first turn (should we get it) and he is going to keep everything in reserve. I plan to advance and assault with my entire force, and his CSMs and his Daemon prince will advance as well. The vindys and pred will provide mid range support to either side of board and the thousand suns hold the home objective.

    Tentative Wave 1:

Soul Grinder, Both Units of Blood Letters, and Blood Crushers.

The 2 Fury of khorne upgrades are there because it was either that or get 1 more Blood letter or a Daemonette and 1 5pt upgrade. Also it give me a tiny sliver of hope when assaulting a vehicle.

    What do you guys think?

    Looks good to me.

All I can add is that you could really use a second icon, one for each wave. Since it's a doubles tournament, I imagine the board is going to fill up fairly quickly. If nothing else, I'd put at least one icon in the wave that's not getting the troops, that way the troops have an icon to help them arrive with. If you need points, you could always cut a bloodletter out of each unit. They'll still be effective with 9 models in each unit.

    Good luck!

Which unit would you put the 2nd icon in?

And how would you divide the waves up?

Were going to forfiet the 1st turn if we get it and he is going to keep everything in reserve. to avoid taking on 2000 pts of shooting on turn 1 when im not there

I'd put the 2nd icon in one of the units of bloodletters.

I'd definitely put the slower units in the first wave, so they have time to reach close combat. Otherwise they might not arrive until turn 4-5, and wind up doing nothing for you. So in the first wave I'd put the bloodcrushers, both units of bloodletters, and the soul grinder (it'll be easier to deep strike him in earlier than later).

Also, keep in mind that you'll probably get shot up quite a bit no matter what. This is alright, as it means your partner isn't getting shot up.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. Do you think our combined army lists could deal well with combined mech list opponents or am i gonna have to cross my fingers and cringe my teeth?

You should do fine, although if you want to be more certain, I'd try and convince your partner to find the points to switch doombolt out for bolt (the anti-armor one), and possibly put some lascannon sponsons on the predator. Overall, it's a lot easier for him to include more anti-armor shooting than it is for you.
