    2000 Worldeaters

What do you guys feel about this list?

    HQ:

    Kharn

    Troops:

15x Berserkers: Champ w/ fist, Icon

    10x Marines: Khorne, x2 Meltagun, champ, w/fist combi-melta (Rhino)

10x Marines: Khprne, x2 Meltagun, champ w/ fist combi-melta (Rhino)

    6x Daemons

    Elite

    :8x Chosen: Khorne, x4 melta-gun, fist (Rhino)

    Heavy:3x Obliterators

    2x Defilers: Combat Weapons

Was considering swapping the chosen for 7x Terminators: Khorne, x3 combi-melta, claws, champ w/ chainfist, flamer. Would be more infanty killy, but less anti-tank capability.

First thing's first, split the big squad of Berzerkers into 2 and remove 1, seven is the magic number for Berzerkers. Second, I would add a Rhino and a champ with power fist for one of the newly formed squads of Berzerkers, then switch the Oblits for a Land Raider to put the rest of the Berzerkers and Kharn into, it's just good business. If you need to shave points from anywhere to achieve some of these switches, I would remove the lesser daemons, in such a small number they just don't do that much.

please tell me 7 isnt really the magic number? i thought 7 was nurgle and 8 for khorne?kharn is a monster, just spent 6 games using him, i found he worked better against light vehicles and small squads, because against other charctcters he gets kind of beat up id probably drop the combi meltas on the rhinos, as ull be able to fire 2 melta guns out of the top anyway.

Sorry, you're right, that was a typo on my end, the magic number is 8.

Outside of fluff. Is it tactically better to cut the Zerker squads to 8? What about the preference of the chosen or termis?

Cutting the Berzerkers down to 8 is actually tactically better because you want combat to continue into your opponents turn where you can then finish them off without getting shot at. If you were to charge pretty well anything with 15 Berzerkers you're more than likely going to win combat then and there and be stuck out in the open for your opponents guns to tear them to shreds.

I prefer Chosen over Termies (please don't shoot! *winces*) mainly because I've had more luck Outflanking Chosen to contest an objective or pop a tank than I have with Termies. Oh, and they cost less. However, my Elites slot is filled up with Dreads, so I really have no room for Termies or Chosen.
