I've very green to WH40K. This is my first army. don't ask me y I chose this army cuz the only real reason i got is they look awesome I haven't decided yet on an HQ. The one I put in the list was the most exspensive and the one that sounds the best to me. Of course I have no experience so it might be a fail choice. My other 2 r a winged demon prince with MoT and Doombolt for 160 pts, a chaos lord with MoT/steed/combi weapon/powerfist for 160-170 also looking to put a icon on him and maybe some meltabombs. I might take the last 50 something pts and add another termy to each squad. It should only put me over by 5ish pts
so i've been doing some number crunching and came up with this
-Mark Of T
-Gift of Chaos
I chose this because of the manueverablitity and the uber spells
2 Squads Termies (4 each)
These are for deepstriking with icons to either protect my TS troops or go on the offensive for tank hunting or HQ bashing
2 Squads TS (16 reg. troops)
-2 lascannon upgrades
total 1378/1500 122pts left
I'm thinking 2 rhinos for my TS for maneuverabililty/cover/funneling enemy troops i think thats 70 pts for the 2 so 52 pts left after that.If i don't take em I don't know what to do then. A lot of people I'm betting r saying my HQ is too exspensive. I see him as almost as powerful as ahriman but a bit cheaper. I don't really see the greatness of a winged prince. If you could explain y that'd be better, i'd like to hear it. I'd also like to hear some thoughts on a CCW dreadnaught and how that might help my TS.

The HQ you are running is a "strange" build. May I suggest (If you don't want to run a Daemon Prince) a Sorcerer with a Mark of Tzeentch, Warp Time (This is arguable the best power after Lash of Submission), and Doombolt. The steed is not all that fantastic, and Gift of Chaos is pretty worthless.
As for the winged Prince with Warp Time, and Doombolt. This guy is a beast, with a 3+ regular and a 4+ invul, he can withstand some punishment. Not only that, he will destroy anything in combat, with Wings, he will be in combat with most armies on Turn 2.
The Wolf time is upon us!
Rep for the Rep God! Positive for the Positive Throne!
Armies: Space Wolves, Imperial Guard, Emperors Children, Necrons, Eldar
I've been flipping through the books and I haven't seen the rules for wings. Do they have the same rules as jump infantry/steed. Also any recommendations for the prince/wings model. I didn't get a good feeling for the norm DP model. I saw one of the guys that works at my local GW painiting up a balor from LoTR and that looks a ton better.
Wings rules are on page 85 in the CSM dex.
As for your list, you need Rhinos. Not only are TSs slow little fellas, but with Defilers as your only armor on the field as things stand, those'lll get pasted fast. I'm not sure I'd waste upgrading them with lascannons either. They die quick in most games, so keep them cheap with their standard load, or free!!! CCW upgrades. A lot of folks like the two extra CCWs, but you can tailor them to transport hunt with the Reapers ACs, or troop hunt with the H. Flamers. They want to walk and use their Battle Cannon the first few turns in any case.
I'd say Wolf Guard's DP set up would be a better HQ choice for you as well. Cheaper, and he's a MC, so he can crush skulls in melee.
You may need to play around with this list a bit yet. I'd like to see another troops choice (L. Daemons might not be bad) and maybe some Oblits so you can get those lascannons (and so many other weapons choices) in.
