    Khorne List: upgrading list to 1.5k. suggestions?

    Assuming that my maths is right, this is what i have at the moment. Any ideas on the best way of upping this to 1.5k.
    My idea is to have all the units as CC-focused, with the Oblits & predator offering long distance support

    Daemon Prince (wings & warptime) 155

    10 CSM & Aspiring Champion (power weapon & 2x meltagun) 200

    Take out a berserker, add kharn in the rhino, upgrade the power swords to fists (in the csm squads)

    yeah, plus when he deep strikes in he certainly draws attention/fire away from other units :-D

    Ditch the Predator and Replace with a Land Raider w/Daemonic Posession. Get rid of the rhino and run the Berzerkers in the Raider.

    Lose the rhino on one of the CSM squads and change it to something like this:
    10 CSM & AC (Icon of Chaos Glory, pweapon, Lascannon, Flamer) - 215

    Change the second CSM squad to:
    10 CSM & AC (IoCG, pfist, 2 x flamer) + Rhino w/extra armour - 250

    Add another Oblit

    Add Mark of Khorne to the DP

    This should leave you at 1495.

    This way you have a total of 5 Oblits for fire support, and a rather large Lascannon squad for objective sitting. Meaning you can be very aggressive with your second squad, which now has flamers for more punch pre-assault and horde control while your Berzerkers are now riding in the Raider (meaning they can assault when they disembark). Run your DP behind the Raider for a cover save until he's close enough to get into combat.

    You can also swap out the flamer on the sitting squad for a meltagun if you play opponents with lots of vehicles/flanking vehicles (like BA). This will bump you up to an even 1500.

    I'm going to agree with aussie bogan on one of his points, I'd definately drop the Pred and a Rhino for a Land Raider that the Berzerkers can ride in. As for your other troops, definately give the champ a power fist and keep the meltaguns, but drop the extra bolter on the Rhino, it's unneeded, and give them the Icon of Chaos Glory. Unless you want to stick to fluff, definately leave the Prince unmarked and keep warptime, they're insanely good for the points you pay for them. With the points you have left, you can add an extra Obliterator to one of the squads, adding some extra fire power. Hope this helps.
