    Need help with what to add to this army to get to 1k (and possibly beyond!)

    Ok so i'm getting back into my chaos marines army, and have 0 idea as to where to go with getting to 1k since my old list I don't really like (it had bikes and I have realized they aren't as good as I would like, there was also a dreadnought which I really like but i'm not sure how to fit it in)

    So this is basically what I have so far.


    HQ-

    Daemon Prince
    -Wings
    -Warp Time
    155 points

    Troops-
    10 CSM
    -Champion with Power Weapon
    -Plasma Gun
    -Plasma Gun
    220 points

    8 Berzerkers with a Rhino
    -Skull Champ w/ powerfist
    243 points

    Heavy Support
    1 Defiler
    - As is, or maybe add two arms for CC? Not sure yet.
    150 Points

    What should/could I do to get to 1k and then to continue on after that mark exactly? Any tips/suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!

    Your list seems fairly close to the one I use, so I'll give you my list:

    1x Daemon Prince with Warptime and Wings - 150
    2x CSM with Aspiring Champ and Power Weapon, 2x Meltaguns and a Rhino
    1x Defiler with extra CC weapon and Reaper Autocannon
    3x Oblits

    You could swap one of the squads of CSM with your Berzerker layout as well as they cost roughly the same amount of points, but this list has worked very well for me.
    World Eaters: W-47 D-10 L-9
    Necrons: W-19 D-3 L-2
    Protectorate of Menoth: W-36 D-0 L-7

    HQ is fine.-155

    Swap meltas to the CSM squad, and add a power fist, which creates no change in price.
    Add a rhino-255

    fill berzerkers to a squad of 10, with a champion, who has a power fist
    add a rhino-285

    Take a defiler with 2ccw's, as if it fires the cannon it can fire no other ranged weapons, and of it shoots the flamer or reaper, it can't shoot the cannon. CCW's are free and make the most sense. -150

    Take a second defiler as well, same equipment.-150

    I get a total of 995.

    There's 5 points to play with,
    or, alternatively, you can swap the defilers for vindicators to free up 50 points, or you can swap in two pairs of Obliterators for the same price as what is currently in the list. 5 points buys you a personal icon, which gives the obliterators a "target" to land... All up to you. You have a good list so far though.

    I think that the berzerkers are fine in a 8-man squad with a fisty champ.
    What is more, I'd like 1 extra cc weapon to the defiler, since you are not going to fire always the battle cannon. F.e. if you are near an enemy squad and if you are going to assault them, you shouldn't fire the battle cannon, but a heavy flamer!

    I would suggest filling out the bezerker squad to ten, give your marine squad a powerfist for some extra anti tank punching power. Also I would strongly suggest you put both of your squads in rhino's or else they are going to have to walk to their targets and get shot. I don't think a bezerker squad is going to live long if they have to walk, no sane player is going to let them reach their lines intact if they can do anything about it. Hope this helps Red Corsair.
